BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Bucknell University will stream a Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC)-East Region doubleheader on Sunday, September 26, from Kinney Natatorium versus George Washington University and Wagner College. Coverage is available on CWPATV.com.
The Bison will clash with George Washington at 1:00 p.m. Eastern prior to meeting Wagner at 5:00 p.m. Eastern.
The Bucknell-George Washington game will pit an institution from all five previous MAWPC Championship title games as the Bison downed the Colonials in 2016 and 2019, while GW knocked off Bucknell in 2018. Historically, Bucknell holds three MAWPC crowns (2016, 2019, Winter 2021 vs. La Salle University), while George Washington claimed two league titles (2017 vs. Wagner, 2018) to account for all the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championship berths in the five year history of the group.
