BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Goalie Adrien Touzot (So., Beirut, Lebanon/Brummana) made 12 saves to earn tournament Most Valuable Player honors and lead the No. 10-ranked/host Bison to an 11-3 defeat of La Salle University in the title game of the Winter 2021 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Championship title game.  For his performance, Touzot is named the March 8 MAWPC Defensive Player of the Week.

Thanks to his MVP performance in the title game, the Bison topped the Explorers to earn the league’s automatic berth to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Men’s Water Polo Championship at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, Calif., on March 18, 20-21.

The award marks the third weekly award of Touzot’s tenure in Lewisburg as he previously garnered recognition as the December 2, 2019 Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week last year.
