BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Ally Furano (Jr., Stamford, Conn./The Ursuline School) of No. 23-ranked Bucknell University registered 21 goals and an assist over four games at the Brown University Bruno Classic to earn recognition as the February 3 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Player of the Week.

She opened the weekend invitational by connecting for a school record eight goals in a 16-12 defeat of No. 24 Marist College on Saturday, February 1.  She added four goals in a 13-8 victory over Division III No. 10 Austin College to complete the day prior to tacking on three goals with an assist and a steal in a 7-5 defeat of Division III No. 3 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges on Sunday, February 2.  Furano wrapped up the weekend by tallying six goals in a 16-10 win versus Siena College.

The honor marks her fifth Player of the Week and sixth overall accolade as she previously collected three Player of the Week nods in 2019 (February 4, March 11, April 8) after garnering Player and Rookie of the Week status on April 16, 2018.
