BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Ally Furano (So., Stamford, Conn./The Ursuline School) scored 11 goals and added six assists as No. 23-ranked Bucknell University posted a trio of Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I league victories at Harvard University’s Blodgett Pool.  For her performance, Furano earns recognition as the April 8 CWPA Division I Player of the Week.

A three-time Player of the Week selection in 2019 after previously earning laurels on February 4 and March 11, she helped the Bison top Brown University (8-4 W), No. 14 Harvard (9-7 W) and George Washington University (11-7 W).

She opened the weekend with four goals, two assists, two steals and an ejection drawn versus Brown prior to notching four goals, an assist and a steal against Harvard.  Furano added three goals, three assists and an ejection drawn in the defeat of George Washington.

It marks the fourth time that a Furano has garnered Player of the Week status for Bucknell as her sister Paige Furano (Fr., Stamford, Conn./The Ursuline School) posted Player and co-Rookie of the Week status last week on April 1.
