BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Doruk Ozar (Fr., Istanbul, Turkey/Private Sezin) of No. 10-ranked Bucknell University scored four times during an 11-3 Winter 2021 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Championship title game defeat of La Salle University at home in Kinney Natatorium. For his performance, Ozar is named the March 8 MAWPC Rookie of the Week.
The Winter 2021 MAWPC Championship Rookie of the Tournament, Ozar helped the Bison top the Explorers to earn the league’s automatic berth to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Men’s Water Polo Championship at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, Calif., on March 18, 20-21.
