BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Josh Yardley (Jr., Sellersville, Pa./Pennridge) of No. 10-ranked Bucknell University posted five goals and three assists in an 18-9 loss to No. 4/host the University of Southern California (USC) in the opening round of the Winter 2021 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Men’s Water Polo Championship to claim status as the March 22 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Player of the Week.
In his first season with the Bison, Yardley’s award marks the second weekly honor of his intercollegiate career – but the first at Bucknell – as he claimed the December 3 MAWPC Rookie of the Week award in 2018 as a member of the George Washington University men’s water polo team.
