BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Kali Hyham (Jr., Garden Grove, Calif./Huntington Beach) of No. 23 Bucknell University scored 25 goals with six ejections drawn during a 4-0 weekend for the Bison at the Mercyhurst University Invitational to earn status as the February 17 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Player of the Week.

A first-time weekly honor recipient from the league office, she opened the weekend in the “Flagship City” of Erie by putting up five goals against Gannon University (14-6 W) and six more versus the host Lakers (18-14 W) on Saturday, February 15.  On Sunday, February 16, Hyham wrapped up the weekend by netting a career-best seven markers versus McKendree University (15-7 W) prior to connecting on five shots – including the game-winner with 4:23 left in the fourth quarter – to power Bucknell past Salem University (11-10 W).
