BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Alex Dolginskiy (Sr., Burlingame, Calif./Burlingame) of California State University-Chico turned aside 20 shots and snagged a pair of steals during a 3-1 weekend for Wildcats during the opening weekend of Women’s Collegiate Club Sierra Pacific Division competition in Vallejo, Calif., at Cal Poly Maritime Academy. For her performance, Dolginskiy is recognized as the division’s February 23 Player of the Week.
She anchored Chico State in turning back No. 15-ranked the University of California-Davis “A” (4-3 W) and “B” (13-0 W) to accompany a 5-0 forfeit defeat of the University of California “B” and a 13-2 loss to No. 12 California “A”.
