HAYWARD, Calif. — California State University East Bay, a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II member of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAAA)) and Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) ), is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Women’s Water Polo Coach. This is a benefits level position.

Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting the head coach in helping to foster a team culture that is focused and driven to succeed academically and athletically.
- Assist in coaching games and practices.
- Assist in travel, equipment, NCAA paperwork and any other administrative duties.
- Recruit prospective student athletes in compliance with NCAA and University policies and procedures
- Monitor the academic progress and development of student-athletes
- Assist in fundraising opportunities.
- Maintain knowledge and ensure compliance with NCAA, conference and institutional rules and regulations.
- Other additional duties assigned by the head coach.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Competitive coaching background
- NCAA water polo playing experience (preferred)
