2026 Carthage College Women’s Water Polo Schedule
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Carthage College released the institution’s 2026 women’s water polo schedule.
The Firebirds will open the year in Lebanon, Ill., at the McKendree University Mini Tournament with games versus Augustana College, McKendree and the University of California-Merced on Saturday-Sunday, February 7-8. A week later, the team heads to St. Paul, Minn., for the Macalester College Invitational before hitting the road to California for the Convergence Tournament in the greater Los Angeles, Calif., metro region on Friday-Sunday, March 6-8.
Carthage returns home to Kenosha, Wisc., to host a 10-game Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III tournament on Saturday-Sunday, March 14-15, with league games against Macalester, Grove City College, Austin College and Augustana. Two weeks later, the Firebirds conclude their regular season CWPA Division schedule at Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, Pa., with clashes against the host Presidents, Wheaton College, Connecticut College and Penn State Behrend slated for Saturday-Sunday, March 28-29.
The team will then trek to Norton, Mass., for the CWPA Division III Championship on Friday-Sunday, April 10-12, at Wheaton.
The champion and runner-up from the CWPA Division III Championship earn spots in the four-time USA Water Polo Division III Collegiate Championship hosted by either the champion or runner-up from the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) on Saturday-Sunday, April 25-26.
