KENOSHA, Wis.  — In conjunction with the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW), Carthage College is establishing updated safety guidelines in order to allow for spectators at all home events.

In order to accommodate spectators at Carthage events, the college will be enforcing CDC recommendations of being socially distant at three feet apart, while requiring masks that cover the nose and mouth at all times indoors, but not outdoors. In order to further protect student-athletes, no spectators will be allowed on the field, court, or area of competition before or after any official Carthage Athletics contest.

The department will be returning to the pass list system for all student-athletes where tickets are required by paid admission in the sports of football, men’s basketball, and women’s basketball. Ticket sales for those three sports will be available to the public both online and at the game entrance. Carthage students, faculty, and staff will be able to attend, with free admittance when showing a valid Carthage ID.

Carthage College and the athletic department hold the right to adjust their attendance policy based on the current conditions regarding the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
