2019 Men’s Collegiate Club Florida Division Schedule
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) announces a schedule change for the 2019 Men’s Collegiate Club Florida Division tournament at Florida State University’s Leach Recreation Center in Tallahassee, Fla., on Saturday-Sunday, September 14-15.
Due to the University of Miami (Fla.) being unable to attend the weekend, the Hurricanes forfeit their games versus the host Seminoles, the University of Florida “B”, the University of Central Florida and Florida Gulf Coast University. Miami remains in the remainder of the division schedule as the team will compete at Central Florida in Orlando, Fla., on Saturday-Sunday, October 5-6, and the division championship on Saturday-Sunday, October 26-27, at Florida in Gainesville, Fla.
The absence in the schedule will be filled on a one-week basis by a “B” team from Florida State which will take the spots vacated by Miami.
The remainder of the schedule remains unchanged as Florida Atlantic University, the University of Florida “A”, Florida “B”, Florida Gulf Coast, Florida State and Central Florida clash over the span of the weekend to establish the early front-runners in the Florida Division.
