BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Due to the aftermath of Hurricane Irma, the University of Miami is unable to attend this weekend’s Men’s Collegiate Club Florida Division tournament at the University of Florida on Saturday-Sunday, September 23-24. Due to this, the schedule for the event is adjusted to accommodate for the absence of Miami.
All games in the revised schedule will count towards the division standings as Miami can not be penalized with forfeits as the Hurricanes were unable to control the result of Irma. Due to this, seeding for the Florida Division Championship will be based on winning percentage opposed to win/loss record.
The adjusted 14-game slate was composed to maintain each teams’ first game as close to the original schedule as possible.
