BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Mason Friedman (So., Scarsdale, N.Y./Scarsdale) of Lehigh University scored 37 goals over the span of four games during a 4-1 Men’s Collegiate Club Division weekend for the Mountain Hawks at West Chester University. For his performance during the season-opening weekend of collegiate club competition, Friedman claims recognition as the September 15 Liberty Division Player of the Week.
He tallied 11 goals in a 20-9 defeat of the University of Delaware and notched 11 more markers in a 20-6 dispatching of Binghamton University. Friedman chipped in six goals against the Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg in a 21-9 victory and put up nine scores versus Binghamton in a 23-10 win prior to Lehigh taking a 5-0 forfeit loss to Delaware in the final game of the weekend.
