BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) is celebrating “Officials Appreciation Week” along with other conferences throughout the 2023-24 academic year. This marks the second year of this nationwide initiative adopted by the Division III Commissioners Association (DIIICA) to recognize and thank conference officials across all sports.
Officials Appreciation Week is celebrated during the winter season this year from January 22-28 and again in the spring season from April 1-7. The fall celebration was held the week of October 2-9, 2023.
The commitment of officials and referees to safe, fair, and competitive contests is a critical part of the student-athlete experience.
