BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA)/Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC)/Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) mourn the passing of longtime official and Slippery Rock University alum Brad Peavey.

Peavey, 70, of Canterbury, moved on to his next life on March 25, 2024. For 50 years, he was the loving husband of Sally (Eliff) Peavey. Born in Springfield, Mass., he live in Leominster, Mass. as the son of the late H. John Peavey and E. Jane Peavey. Brad was a graduate of Leominster schools and graduated from Slippery Rock State College where he was a competitive swimmer and swim coach.

He worked in sales management and grocery reset management in S&S stores. Brad refereed college water polo for 30 years throughout the country and internationally. Peavey loved a round of golf, a good beer, and coaching all sports from youth with his children to collegiate All-America selections.

In addition to his wife, Sally, he is survived by his children, Kelly and her partner David Blanchette of Leominster, Mass.. and his granddaughters, Molly Addison, and Emilia; plus his son, Sean and partner Amber Duke of Gordonsville, Va., and son Alex.
