BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)/Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) official Humberto Navarro has spent the period of August 18-30 calling the 29th Summer Universiade/University Games in Chinese Taipei/Taiwan.
A Fédération internationale de natation (International Swimming Federation) certified official, Navarro called games during men’s and women’s competition featuring teams from the United States of America, Canada, the Republic of South Africa, the Republic of Korea (South Korea), the Russian Federation, Hungary, Japan, the United Kingdom/Great Britain, France, Australia, New Zealand and Chinese Taipei, among others.
A native of Cuba and resident of West Palm Beach, in Florida, Navarro has officiated for over 20-years on the club, collegiate and international levels with past experience at the CWPA National Collegiate Club Championships, the CWPA Championship, the Pan American Games and various USA Water Polo domestic and FINA international tournaments.
