2019 Men’s Collegiate Club Mid-Atlantic Division “B” Schedule
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) announces the postponement of the 2019 Men’s Collegiate Club Mid-Atlantic Division “B” Championship slated to be hosted by Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pa., on Saturday-Sunday, October 19-20.
Due to institutional policy, Saint Joseph’s required additional insurance to host the event on campus. The league was unable to cover the cost of the additional insurance, but will work with the Saint Joseph administration regarding additional tournament opportunities for upcoming years. In the interim, Saint Joseph’s will still be able to host single matches in future seasons.
The league has discussed hosting the 2019 “B” Championship with original host, West Chester University of Pennsylvania. The WCU leadership is inquiring about the possibility of hosting the “B” Championship on Saturday-Sunday, November 2-3. Additional information will be posted on the league website when details are confirmed.
