BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Lions continue not to sleep as 2014, 2015 and 2016 victor Lindenwood University is once again a top selection in the Week 3/September 28 Men’s National Collegiate Club Top 20 Poll.
Following the opening three weeks of collegiate club competition, the Top 20 Poll again experiences radical changes behind the Lions of Lindenwood (99 points). The Lions are no longer a unanimous selection as a pollster selected Lindenwood second in the poll this week.
2016 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship runner-up Long Beach State University (85 points) remains at No. 2 with California Polytechnic State University (80 points) and the University of California-Los Angeles (77 points) rising to No. 3 and 4, respectively.
Pennsylvania State University (76 points) and San Diego State University (74 points) hang on at No. 5 and 6, with Grand Valley State University (71 points), the University of California (70 points), the University of Michigan (49 points) and Indiana University (46 points) completing the Top 10.
The University of California-San Diego (41 points), the United States Military Academy (40 points), the University of Texas (38 points), the University of Colorado (32 points) and the University of Florida (29 points) come in at No. 11-to-15, with the University of Utah (24 points) and the University of Georgia (24 points) tying at No. 16.
Boston College (22 points), Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (16 points) and Boston University (15 points) complete this week’s Top 20.
