BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) announces the selection of 273 student-athletes to the 2018 Men’s Collegiate Club All-Conference teams.

Comprised of 133 First Team and 140 Second Team honorees from the Atlantic, Big Ten, Colonial, Florida, Great Lakes, Heartland, Mid-Atlantic “A”, Mid-Atlantic “B”, Missouri Valley, New England, New York. North Atlantic, Northwest, Pacific Coast, Rocky Mountain, Sierra Pacific, Southeast, Southwest and Texas Divisions, the selection process marks the largest All-Conference balloting procedure in collegiate sports (varsity or club) with each of the league’s men’s collegiate club teams nominating and selecting the “best-of-the-best” in their division from the 2018 campaign.  The First Team selections from each division automatically advance to the National Collegiate Club All-America ballot.

The All-Conference selections, including the Most Valuable Player and Coach of the Year in each of the league’s collegiate club divisions, are based on nominations and votes from the membership in each division.  Normally, 14 players are selected to each division’s All-Conference Team (seven First Team, seven Second Team), however, ties occur and are accounted for with additional athletes added onto the Second Team.

Per CWPA guidelines, First Team selections, minus the Most Valuable Player selection in each division who receives a plaque, will receive an award for their selection.
