BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2018 Men’s Collegiate Club Pacific Coast Division schedule.
Comprised of California Polytechnic State University “A”, California Polytechnic State University “B”, California State University-Long Beach, the University of California-Los Angeles “A”, the University of California-Los Angeles “B”, the University of California-Santa Barbara and the University of Southern California, the Pacific Coast Division will contest its 21st season as part of the league with Cal Poly (1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008), California Baptist University (1999), UCLA (2005, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013), USC (2011, 2017), San Diego State University (2014) and Long Beach State (2015, 2016) previously claiming titles.
Competition begins with 14 games on Saturday-Sunday, October 6-7, at Cal Poly’s Anderson Pool in San Luis Obispo, Calif., prior to the regular season concluding on Saturday-Sunday, October 13-14, with 14 games at UCLA’s Spieker Aquatic Center in Los Angeles, Calif.
The Pacific Coast Division Championship will be decided with 11 games at Long Beach State’s Ken Lindgren Aquatic Center on Saturday-Sunday, October 27-28.
The victor of the division championship earns an automatic berth to the 2018 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship slated to be hosted by the University of Arizona in Tucson, Ariz., on Friday-Sunday, November 9-11.
