2018 Women’s Collegiate Club Northwest Division Schedule
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association releases the 2018 Women’s Collegiate Club Northwest Division schedule.
Comprised of the University of Oregon “A”, the University of Oregon “B”, Oregon State University, Portland State University, the University of Washington “A”, the University of Washington “B” and Western Washington University, the division will contest 28 regular season games divided equally between tournaments at Washington at a site to be determined (Saturday-Sunday, February 10-11) and Oregon at the Willamalane Aquatic Center in Springfield, Ore. (Saturday-Sunday, March 3-4).
The regular season competition will establish the seeds for the 11-game Northwest Division Championship on Saturday-Sunday, April 15-16, hosted by Oregon State at the Osborn Aquatic Center in Corvallis, Ore., with the division victor advancing to the 2018 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship hosted by Washington at the Mt. Hood Community College Aquatics Center in Gresham, Ore., on Friday-Sunday, May 4-6.
Due to the Huskies hosting the National Collegiate Club Championship, the runner-up from the division will also advance to the tournament. If another squad wins the title, Washington will advance to the field as the No. 16 seed as the Northwest Division is guaranteed to place two programs into the 16-team championship.
