BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Defending National Champion the University of California-Davis retains the No. 1 ranking as the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the Week 8/March 28 Women’s National Collegiate Club Top 20 and Division III Top 10 Polls.
2019 Women’s Club National Top 20 (Week 8/March 28)
The Aggies of the University of California-Davis (97 points) remain at No. 1 in the Week 8/March 28 2019 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 Poll.
The University of California-Los Angeles (96 points), California Polytechnic State University (89 points) and the University of Florida (81 points) follow at No. 2-to-4, respectively while the University of Washington (76 points) breaks out of a tie with the University of California-San Diego (75 points) to claim sole possession of the No. 5 position.
Lindenwood University (72 points), Hartwick College (56 points), Grand Valley State University (48 points) and the University of California-Santa Barbara (42 points) complete the Top 10 for another week.
A pair of ties account for the No. 11-to-14 slots in the Top 20 as Fresno State University (39 points) and Pennsylvania State University (39 points) are equals at No. 11, while the University of Notre Dame (38 points) and the University of Oregon (38 points) similarly share the No. 13 berth after being deadlocked at No. 14 last week.
Texas A&M University (37 points) slips to No. 15, while the University of Michigan (35 points) and Michigan State University (17 points) retain the No. 16 and 17 positions.
Boston College (16 points) and the University of Virginia (16 points) are now tied at No. 18 with San Diego State University (14 points) wrapping up the Top 20.

The Hawks (97 points) lead a Top 10 which experiences one change this week.
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (95 points) stays at No. 2 with Washington University in St. Louis (91 points) pulling ahead of the University of California-Santa Cruz (86 points) to acquire sole possession of the No. 3 berth.
The remainder of the Top 10 remains unchanged with Middlebury College (79 points), Tufts University (72 points), Carleton College (69 points), Carnegie Mellon University (63 points), New York University (48 points) and Wellesley College (46 points) holding down the No. 5-to-10 spots for another week.
