2022 Men’s Collegiate Club Missouri Valley Division Schedule

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2022 Men’s Collegiate Club Missouri Valley Division schedule.

Comprised of McKendree University, Missouri University of Science & Technology, Saint Louis University, the University of Missouri and newcomer the University of Indianapolis, the Missouri Valley Division will contest its 18th season with Western Illinois University (2004), Lindenwood University (2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019), Miami University (Ohio) (2007), Saint Louis (2011) and McKendree (2021) each previously capturing the division championship. The 2020 season was not contested due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2022 season marks the first time the Missouri Valley Division will contest regular season competition since the 2019 campaign.  The 2020 season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, while the 2021 slate consisted of a three-game division championship featuring Missouri S&T, Missouri and host McKendree.

This year is known to have at least one regular season tournament as McKendree will host 10 games on Saturday-Sunday, October 15-16, in Lebanon, Ill.

The remainder of the regular season schedule is unknown at this time as a second host site has not been confirmed as of September 22.  If a second host site is not acquired, the results of the McKendree weekend on October 15-16 will determine the seeding for the eight-game Missouri Valley Division Championship on Saturday-Sunday, October 29-30, also at McKendree.

The Missouri Valley Division champion earns an automatic berth to the 2022 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship slated to be hosted at an institution in the Northwest Division on Friday-Sunday, November 11-13.
