2023 Men’s Collegiate Club New York Division Schedule
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2023 Men’s Collegiate Club New York Division schedule.
Columbia University, Cornell University, New York University, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Syracuse University and the United States Military Academy will compete in the division this year as the grouping contests its 28th season of competition in 2023. Historically, the New York Division has been captured by Army (1995, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022), the Rochester Institute of Technology (1996), the University of Rochester (1996), Cornell (2000, 2012, 2013, 2014), Colgate University (2003, 2005), Merchant Marine (2004), Columbia (2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2015), NYU (2007) and Cornell (2021). The 2020 season was not contested due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The division features one regular season tournament as the teams meet for 15 games on Saturday-Sunday, September 23-24, in West Point, N.Y.,at Army.
The New York Division Championship is currently slated for Saturday-Sunday, October 21-22, at RPI in Troy, N.Y.with the victor of the weekend earning the group’s automatic berth to the 2023 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship on November 10-12 at a site to be determined.
