BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2023 Week 2/February 16 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 and Division III Top 10 Polls.
2023 Women’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 (Week 2/February 16)
Defending Women’s National Collegiate Club Champion the University of California gains company at No. 1 in the 2023 Week 2/February 16 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 Poll as California Polytechnic State University pulls even with the Golden Bears.
California (96 points) – which knocked off the University of California-Santa Barbara by an 8-3 score at the Huntsville Aquatics Center in Huntsville, Ala., to capture the 2022 National Championship – and Cal Poly (96 points) – which elected to not compete at the Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship last year – lead a Top 20 which experiences significant changes.
UC-Santa Barbara (92 points) and the University of California-San Diego (86 points) remain at No. 3 and 4 while Boston College (71 points), Fresno State University (67 points), the University of California-Los Angeles (65 points), the University of Oregon (61 points), San Diego State University (58 points) and Pennsylvania State University (50 points) complete the Top 10.
The University of Michigan (47 points) and Texas A&M University (41 points) drop to No. 11 and 12, respectively, with the University of Washington (39 points), the University of Texas (38 points) and Arizona State University (32 points) come in at No. 13-to-15.
Florida State University (26 points), the University of California-Davis (25 points), the University of Southern California (20 points) and the University of Central Florida (16 points) rate at No. 16-to-19 with the United States Air Force Academy (9 points) and the University of Utah (9 points) tying at No. 20.

2023 Women’s Collegiate Club Division III National Top 10 (Week 2/February 16)
2022 Women’s Division III Collegiate Club Champion the University of California-Santa Cruz is joined by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology at No. 1 in the 2023 Week 2/February 16 Division III Top 10 poll.
UC-Santa Cruz (96 points) and MIT (96 points) are followed by Washington University in St. Louis (92 points), Middlebury College (86 points) and Tufts University (77 points) to complete the Top Five.
Grinnell College (72 points) and Saint Olaf College (72 points) move into a tie at No. 6, while Carleton College (62 points) and Williams College (62 points) are tied at No. 8 with the United States Coast Guard Academy (60 points) acquiring the final spot.
