BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2024 Week 16/May 9/Final Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 and Division III Top 10 Polls.

2024 Women’s National Collegiate Club/Big Ten Division Champion the University of Michigan completes the season at No. 1 as the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the Week 16/May 9/Final Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 Poll.
Michigan – which defeated the University of California-Los Angeles by a 10-9 score in sudden death overtime on Sunday, May 5, in the 2024 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship title game at Texas A&M University – finishes the year as a unanimous No. 1 pick. The two-time (2023, 2024) Women’s Collegiate Club National Champions are followed in the poll by the Pacific Coast Division Champion Bruins (95 points), Southwest Division Champion the University of California-San Diego (90 points), Sierra Pacific Division Champion the University of California-Davis (85 points) and Midwest Division Champion the University of Notre Dame (80 points) as the Top Five mirror the order of finish at the 2024 Women’s Collegiate Club Championship last weekend.
California Polytechnic State University (73 points), San Diego State University (72 points), the University of Southern California (63 points), the University of California-Santa Barbara (62 points) and Southeast Division Champion Florida State University (51 points) complete the Top 10.
Arizona State University (48 points), the University of California-Santa Cruz (46 points), Mid-Atlantic Division Champion West Chester University (40 points), the University of California-Irvine (39 points) rate at No. 11-to-14 with the duo of Michigan State University (25 points) and New England Division Champion Northeastern University (25 points) tying at No. 15.
Rocky Mountain Division Champion the University of Colorado (22 points), Texas Division Champion Texas A&M (15 points) and Northwest Division Champion the University of Washington (11 points) stand at No. 16-to-19.
The final position in the Top 20 is shared by two programs as Atlantic Division Champion Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (2 points) and North Atlantic Division Champion Yale University (2 points) round out the ranked teams in the final poll of the 2024 women’s season.

Sierra Pacific Division Championship runner-up the University of California-Santa Cruz finishes the season at No. 1 in the Week 16/May 9/Final Women’s Collegiate Club Division III Top 10 Poll.
The Division III Top 10 remains unchanged from last week with UC-Santa Cruz (96 points), North Atlantic Division Championship runner-up the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) (95 points), Washington University in St. Louis (92 points), the United States Coast Guard Academy (85 points), New York University (81 points), Carnegie Mellon University (73 points), Middlebury College (70 points), Grinnell College (64 points), Colby College (35 points) and Wesleyan University (34 points) retaining the No. 1-to-10 positions.
