2024 Women’s Collegiate Club Texas Division Schedule

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2024 Women’s Collegiate Club Texas Division schedule.

Comprised of Baylor University, Rice University, Texas A&M University “A”, Texas A&M University “B”, Texas State University, the University of North Texas and the University of Texas, the seven-team division will contest its 22nd season in 2024.

Texas A&M (2001, 2008, 2010, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023), Texas (2002, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2016) and Rice (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006) have combined for all 21 prior division crowns.  A Texas Division champion was not crowned during either the 2020 or 2021 seasons due to the COVID-19 pandemic terminating the completion and start of the campaigns, respectively.

Regular season competition begins with 14 games on Saturday-Sunday, February 24-25, at Texas A&M in College Station, Texas, prior to concluding with another 14-game slate on Saturday-Sunday, March 23-24, at Rice in Houston, Texas.

The 11-game Texas Division Championship will take place at Rice on Saturday-Sunday, April 13-14, with the victor earning the group’s automatic berth to the 2024 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship on Friday-Sunday, May 3-5, at a site to be determined.

The 2024 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship is set to occur in the Texas Division with Texas A&M as a potential host.  If the championship is hosted by a Texas Division program, the division champion and the host institution will both compete in the 16-team field.  If the division champion is the host institution, the runner-up from the Texas Division will make the National Championship field.
