BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2025 Men’s Collegiate Club Colonial Division schedule.
Amherst College, Middlebury College, the University of Connecticut, the University of Massachusetts, Wesleyan University and Williams College make up the Colonial Division’s 10th season of competing membership. Connecticut (2023, 2024), Massachusetts (2022), Williams (2015, 2021), Wesleyan (2016), Amherst (2017) and the United States Coast Guard Academy (2018, 2019) previously claimed the division crown, while the 2020 season was not contested due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Regular season competition will occur on back-to-back weekends with 12-game tournaments as Middlebury in Middlebury, Vt. (Saturday-Sunday, September 20-21) and Wesleyan in Middletown, Conn. (Saturday-Sunday, September 27-28) serve as host sites.
The order of finish from the regular season establishes the Colonial Division’s seeding for the combined Colonial/North Atlantic Championships slated for Saturday-Sunday, October 25-26, at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.
The championship will pit the six Colonial Division institutions versus five North Atlantic Division teams in a 16-game event to determine an overall champion. In addition, the top finishing teams in both divisions claim their respective group’s titles.
