BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2025 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 and Division III Top 10 Week 1/January 30 Polls.
2025 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 (Week 1)
The University of California-Davis dislodges defending Women’s National Collegiate Club Champion the University of Michigan to take over at No. 1 in the country as the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 Week 1/January 30 Poll.
UC-Davis (97 points ) acquires a one-point lead over Michigan (96 points) and climbs three places to take over the top spot after ranking at No. 4 last week. Michigan, the University of California-Los Angeles (86 points) and the University of California-San Diego (80 points) each back up one place to stand at No. 2-to-4 with the University of Notre Dame (78 points) and California Polytechnic State University (66 points) remaining at No. 5 and 6.
Michigan State University (65 points) rises eight positions to stand at No. 7 with the University of California-Santa Barbara (61 points) and San Diego State University (72 points) tying at No. 8. The University of Southern California (49 points) completes the Top 10.
West Chester University (35 points) inches up to No. 11 with Texas A&M University (31 points) and the University of Florida (31 points) tying at No. 12.
Florida State University (30 points) comes in at No. 14 with the trio of Pennsylvania State University (28 points), Arizona State University (28 points) and California State University-Chico (28 points) tying at No. 15.
The University of California-Santa Cruz (23 points) and the University of Colorado (23 points) share the No. 18 position with the duo of Northeastern University (15 points) and Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (15 points) completing the Top 20 with another tie.

2025 Women’s Collegiate Club Division III Top 10 (Week 1)
The University of California-Santa Cruz continues at No. 1 in the 2025 Women’s Collegiate Club Division III Top 10 Week 1/January 30 Poll.
UC-Santa Cruz (96 points), the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) (94 points) and Washington University in St. Louis (90 points) remain at No. 1-to-3, respectively, with New York University (87 points) and the United States Coast Guard Academy (75 points) exchanging the No. 4 and 5 positions.
Middlebury College (74 points) and Carnegie Mellon University (73 points) exchange the No. 6 and 7 slots with Colby College (51 points) and Tufts University (42 points) remaining steady at No. 8 and 9.
Wesleyan University (35 points) breaks a preseason tie for the final spot to acquire sole control of the No. 10 berth this week.
