BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2025 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 and Division III Top 10 Week 9/March 27 Polls.

2025 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 (Week 9)

The University of California-Santa Barbara acquires company at No. 1 as San Diego State University and the University of Michigan create a three-way tie for the top position in the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 Week 9/March 27 Poll.

UCSB (94 points) is reeled in by two-time defending National Champion Michigan (94 points) and San Diego State (94 points) as the Top Three teams in the nation remain unchanged – although now tied at No. 1.

California Polytechnic State University (79 points) and the University of California-San Diego (72 points) exchange the No. 4 and 5 spots, while the University of California (70 points) and the University of California-Los Angeles (70 points) enter into a tie at No. 6.

The University of California-Davis (68 points) drops back to No. 8 with the University of Notre Dame (65 points) and the University of Washington (54 points) completing the Top 10 by achieving the final two berths.

Michigan State University (52 points, the University of Florida (42 points) and the University of Colorado (30 points) rearrange to stand at No. 11-to-13 with Texas A&M University (26 points) and the University of Texas (26 points) tying at No. 14.

The University of Southern California (24 points) and the University of Oregon (18 points) break into the Top 20 at No. 16 and 17, the duo of Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (12 points) and the University of California-Santa Cruz (12 points) share the No. 18 position and the pair of Florida State University (10 points) and Northeastern University (10 points) are equals at No. 20 to complete the Week 9 rankings.

2025 Women’s Collegiate Club Division III Top 10 (Week 9)

The University of California-Santa Cruz becomes a unanimous No. 1 pick in the 2025 Women’s Collegiate Club Division III Top 10 Week 9/March 27 Poll.

UC-Santa Cruz (100 points) – which totaled 99 points last week – leads a Division III Top 10 which experiences changes at No. 4-to-5 and 8-to-9.

Washington University in St. Louis (95 points) and New York University (90 points) stay at No. 2 and 3 behind the Banana Slugs, while the United States Coast Guard Academy (83 points) and Carnegie Mellon University (79 points) exchange the No. 4 and 5 slots.

Middlebury College (78 points) and Tufts University (69 points) remain steady at No. 6 and 7.

The duo of Emory University (62 points) and Colby College (62 points) enter a tie at No. 8 after ranking at No. 8 and 9, respectively, last week.

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (33 points) completes the poll.
