2025 Women’s Collegiate Club Bay Area Division Schedule
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases a revision to the 2025 Women’s Collegiate Club Bay Area Division Championship schedule.
Created in December 2024 from the Sierra Pacific Division, the Bay Area Division will be composed of Saint Mary’s College of California, San Jose State University, Stanford University, the University of California-Santa Cruz “A”, the University of California-Santa Cruz “B” and the University of San Francisco during the group’s inaugural campaign.
Regular season competition will be contested in Santa Cruz, Calif., as UC-Santa Cruz hosts 12-game events on Saturday-Sunday, February 22-23 and March 8-9.
The schedule change occurs for the division championship on Saturday-Sunday, March 22-23, at San Jose State in San Jose, Calif. Due to Stanford being unable to field a team during the weekend as the institution will be on Spring Break, the championship format is changed to an eight-game, five-team event with the Cardinal not competing.
The victor of the Bay Area Division Championship earns the group’s automatic berth to the 2025 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship on Friday-Sunday, April 11-13, at a site to be determined.
