2025 Women’s Collegiate Club Southwest Division Schedule
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2025 Women’s Collegiate Club Southwest Division schedule.
Comprised of Arizona State University, San Diego State University “A”, San Diego State University “B”, the University of Arizona, the University of California-Irvine, the University of California-San Diego “A” and the University of California-San Diego “B”, the seven-team division will contest its 27th season in 2025.
In the history of the group, the University of Colorado (1997, 2003), Arizona (1998, 2000, 2001, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2013), Northern Arizona University (1999), the University of Utah (2002, 2004, 2006, 2010), the United States Air Force Academy (2005), Arizona State (2011, 2012, 2014, 2023), San Diego State (2015, 2016, 2017, 2019) and UC-San Diego (2018, 2022, 2024) have combined for the prior 26 championships. A division champion was not crowned during either the 2020 or 2021 seasons due to the COVID-19 pandemic terminating the completion and start of the campaigns, respectively.
The regular season begins on Saturday-Sunday, February 1-2, at San Diego State in San Diego, Calif., with 14 games and concludes on Saturday-Sunday, February 15-16, with another 14-contest weekend at Arizona in Tucson, Ariz.
Championship action takes place on Saturday-Sunday, March 1-2, as the teams converge on UC-San Diego in La Jolla, Calif., for the 11-game Southwest Division Championship.to decide the group’s automatic qualifier for the 2025 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship on Friday-Sunday, April 11-13, at a site to be determined.
