2026 Men’s Collegiate Club Southwest Division Schedule

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2026 Men’s Collegiate Club Southwest Division schedule.

Arizona State University “A”, Arizona State University “B”, Northern Arizona University, San Diego State University “A”, San Diego State University “B”, the University of Arizona, the University of California-Riverside, the University of California-San Diego “A” and the University of California-San Diego “B” will compete in the Southwest Division during the group’s 25th season of action in the CWPA.

Arizona (1996, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009), the University of Colorado (1998, 2001), Arizona State (2008, 2010), San Diego State (2016, 2017, 2021) and UC-San Diego (2018, 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025) have combined to claim the previous 24 titles. The 2020 season was not contested due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Southwest Division did not compete as a group in 2011.

Competition begins on Saturday-Sunday, October 3-4, at UC-San Diego in La Jolla, Calif., with 18 games.  Games on Saturday, October 3, will use five-minute quarters with neither timeouts nor overtime, while contests on Sunday, October 4, will utilize six-minute quarters with no overtime and teams limited to one timeout per half.

The regular season concludes on Saturday-Sunday, October 17-18, with another 18-docket at Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.  All games during the weekend will use six-minute quarters with no overtime and teams limited to one timeout per half.

The 15-game Southwest Division Championship is set for Saturday-Sunday, October 31-November 1, at Arizona State in Tempe, Ariz., with games at the event – with the exception of the championship game – will use six-minute quarters with sudden death overtime and teams limited to one timeout per half.  The title game will use regulation collegiate club rules.

The victor of the championship claims the division’s bid to the 2026 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship on Friday-Sunday, November 6-8, at the Huntsville Aquatics Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
