BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2026 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 and Division III Top 10 Week 2/February 12 Polls.

2026 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 (Week 2)

The University of Michigan – which finished second to the University of California-Santa Barbara at the 2025 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship – remains at No. 1 in the country as the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the Week 2/February 12 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 Poll for the 2026 season.

A two-time (2023, 2024) Women’s Collegiate Club National Champion, Michigan (95 points) maintains a one-point lead over California Polytechnic State University (94 points).  Defending National Champion UC-Santa Barbara (78 points) and San Diego State University (78 points) move into a tie at No. 3, while the University of California-Davis (76 points) and the University of Texas (73 points) break at tie at No. 6 to stand at No. 5 and 6 this week.

The University of California-San Diego (70 points) slides to No. 7 with the University of Florida (67 points) chomping up the rankings to move from receiving votes to No. 8.

The University of California (56 points) inches up to No. 9 and the University of Oregon (55 points) – which received votes last week – waddles to No. 10.

The University of Colorado (48 points) rises to No. 11, the University of Washington (44 points) stays at No. 12 and Michigan State University (34 points) backs up to No. 13 prior to a tie at No. 14 featuring Northeastern University (31 points) and the University of California-Los Angeles (31 points).

Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Virginia Tech) (28 points) – which received votes last week – and previously unranked the United States Naval Academy (25 points) take over at No. 17 and 19 before the University of Notre Dame (13 points) and previously unranked Boston College (13 points) tie at No. 19.

2026 Women’s Collegiate Club Division III Top 10 (Week 2)

Following limited competition featuring Division III institutions through the opening two weekends of the 2026 season, the University of California-Santa Cruz retains the No. 1 ranking in the Week 2/February 12 Women’s Collegiate Club Division III Top 10 Poll.

The Banana Slugs (97 points) slip from rating as a unanimous top selection as New York University (95 points) rises to No. 2 and closes the gap to a pair of points.  Washington University in St. Louis (89 points) – which was No. 2 in the Preseason and Week 1 voting –  drops back to No. 3 with Middlebury College (88 points) and the United States Coast Guard Academy (79 points) exchanging the No. 4 and 5 spots.

Tufts University (73 points) and Carnegie Mellon University (72 points) trade the No. 6 and 7 berths, while Bowdoin College (64 points) and Emory University (60 points) switch at No. 8 and 9.  Colby College (57 points) remains at No. 10 to complete the rankings.
