BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2026 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 and Division III Top 10 Week 4/February 26 Polls.

2026 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 (Week 4)

Defending National Champion the University of California-Santa Barbara returns to standing alone at No. 1 as the Gauchos acquire sole custody of the lead position in the Week 4/February 26 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 rankings.

UC-Santa Barbara (96 points) – which was tied with the University of California-San Diego last week – edges out the Tritons (92 points) as the Sierra Pacific and Southwest Division front-runners stand at No. 1 and 2.  The University of Michigan (90 points) and California Polytechnic State University (82 points) shatter a tie at No. 4 to take over at No. 3 and 4, respectively, while the University of California-Los Angeles (69 points) slips back to No. 5.

San Diego State University (66 points), the United States Naval Academy (64 points) and the University of Florida (58 points) improve to No. 6-to-8 with the University of Texas (57 points) and the University of California (56 points) completing the Top 10.

Northeastern University (52 points) and the University of Colorado (36 points) rise and fall to No. 11 and 12, Texas A&M University (34 points) and California State University-Chico (32 points) crack the Top 20 at No. 13 and 14 prior to the University of Oregon (30 points) and Arizona State University (29 points) resetting at No. 15 and 16.

Pennsylvania State University (28 points) moves up to No. 17 with previously not ranked Grand Valley State University (23 points) and Florida State University (17 points) surpassing Cornell University (13 points) to complete the Top 20.

2026 Women’s Collegiate Club Division III Top 10 (Week 4)

The University of California-Santa Cruz slips from ranking as a unanimous No. 1 selection – but retains the No. 1 position – in the Week 4/February 26 Women’s Collegiate Club Division III Top 10 Poll.

The Banana Slugs (96 points) – who garnered 100 (February 19) and 97 (February 12) points the prior two weeks after rating as a unanimous top pick in the Week 1 voting – leads a Top 10 which experiences a minor change.

New York University (92 points) hangs on at No. 2, while Washington University in St. Louis (91 points) and Middlebury College (91 points) move into a tie at No. 3.

The United States Coast Guard Academy (79 points), Tufts University (76 points), Carnegie Mellon University (69 points), Bowdoin College (65 points), Emory University (59 points) and Colby College (57 points) continuing at No. 5-to-10, respectively.
