BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2026 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 and Division III Top 10 Week 6/March 12 Polls.
2026 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 (Week 6)
The No. 1 position in the country changes hands this week as defending National Champion the University of California-Santa Barbara is replaced by both the University of Michigan and newly crowned Pacific Coast Division Champion the University of California-Los Angeles a top the Week 6/March 12 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 rankings.
Michigan (96 points) and UCLA (96 points) – which rated at No. 2 and 8, respectively, last week – displace the Gauchos following a 7-5 victory by UCLA “A” on Sunday, March 8, versus UC-Santa Barbara “A” for the Pacific Coast Division Championship.
UC-Santa Barbara (89 points) drops back to No. 3 with the University of California-San Diego (85 points) and California Polytechnic State University (79 points) slipping back to No. 4 and 5.
The University of California (70 points) and California State University-Chico (68 points) improve to No. 6 and 7, while the University of Florida (63 points), Arizona State University (62 points) and the United States Naval Academy (59 points) rearrange to rate at No. 8-to-10.
The University of Colorado (49 points), San Diego State University (47 points), the University of Texas (38 points), Northeastern University (36 points) and Pennsylvania State University (24 points) come in at No. 11-to-15 with Grand Valley State University (22 points), the University of Washington (19 points), Texas A&M University (17 points), the University of Oregon (11 points) and Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (6 points) completing the Top 20.

2026 Women’s Collegiate Club Division III Top 10 (Week 6)
The University of California-Santa Cruz continues at No. 1 in the Week 6/March 12 Women’s Collegiate Club Division III Top 10 Poll.
The Banana Slugs (99 points) – who garnered 100 (March 5), 96 (February 26), 100 (February 19) and 97 (February 12) points the prior four weeks after rating as a unanimous top pick in the Week 1 voting – leads a Top 10 which undergoes shifts following limited Week 5 competition.
New York University (93 points) breaks a tie with Emory University (92 points) at No. 2 from last week to gain sole possession of the runner-up position. Emory slips back to No. 3 with Bowdoin College (82 points) rising two positions to No. 4.
Washington University in St. Louis (81 points) and Carnegie Mellon University (76 points) fall back to No. 5 and 6 with the United States Coast Guard Academy (72 points) staying at No. 7.
Tufts University (63 points), Middlebury College (60 points) and Colby College (58 points) rearrange to take over at No. 8-to-10.
