BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2026 Week 7//October 22 Men’s Collegiate Club Top 20 and Division III Top 10 Polls.
Released each week during the season, the Top 20 and Division III Top 10 polls have no bearing on qualifiers for the National Collegiate Club Championship.
2026 Men’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 (Week 7)
San Diego State University acquires sole possession of the No. 1 position as the Aztecs lead the 2026 Week 7/October 22 Men’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 Poll.
SDSU (96 points) – which was tied at No. 1 last week with the University of California-Los Angeles with 91 points – breaks away from the field as San Diego State holds a six-point over new runner-up California Polytechnic State University (90 points).
Cal Poly – which moves up from No. 6 – is followed by California State University-Chico (89 points), UCLA (88 points), the University of California (81 points), Long Beach State University (74 points), Texas A&M University (64 points), the University of California-San Diego (59 points), the University of Texas (53 points) and the University of Pittsburgh (49 points) in the Top 10 as only San Diego State and Texas retain their prior rankings from last week.
The University of Colorado (10 points), the University of Washington (44 points) and previously unranked the University of Utah (40 points) rate at No. 11-to-13 prior to Florida State University (36 points) and Florida International University (36 points) tying at No. 14.
Previously unranked the Georgia Institute of Technology (27 points), Yale University (26 points), The Ohio State University (22 points) and Cornell University (9 points) stand at No. 16-to-19 prior to Michigan State University (6 points) and the University of Alabama (6 points) concluding the Top 20 in a tie for the final position.

2026 Men’s Division III Collegiate Club National Top 10 (Week 7)
The University of California-Santa Cruz remains at No. 1 in Division III as the Banana Slugs top the 2026 Men’s Division III Collegiate Club National Top 10 Week 7/October 22 Poll.
UC-Santa Cruz (97 points) – which was tied with Augustana College at No. 1 two weeks ago before regaining solo status in the lead position last week – tops a Top 10 in which only the Banana Slugs and Augustana (91 points) retain their previous rankings.
New York University (90 points) and Bowdoin College (85 points) move up to No. 3 and 4, while the United States Coast Guard Academy (79 points) retreats to No. 5.
The University of Chicago (74 points) and Macalester College (74 points) are tied at No. 6 with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) (65 points), Tufts University (61 points) and Washington University in St. Louis (60 points) taking over at No. 7-to-10.
