BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2026 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 and Division III Top 10 Week 9/April 2 Polls.
2026 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 (Week 9)
The University of California-Los Angeles displaces the University of Michigan to assume the No. 1 spot in the Week 9/April 2 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 rankings.
Pacific Coast Division Champion UCLA (97 points) climbs over Michigan (91 points) to take over the top spot with the Wolverines backing up to No. 2. The University of California-Santa Barbara (90 points) and the University of California (89 points) break a tie at No. 3 to rate at No. 3 and 4, while the University of California-San Diego (80 points), California Polytechnic State University (76 points) and the University of Florida (67 points) continue at No. 5-to-7.
California State University-Chico (55 points) is joined by Texas Division Champion the University of Texas (55 points) at No. 8 and the University of Colorado (53 points) breaks into the Top 10.
Arizona State University (46 points), Northeastern University (40 points), Atlantic Division Champion the United States Naval Academy (37 points), the University of Washington (36 points) and San Diego State University (34 points) rearrange to comprise the No. 11-to-15 squads, respectively.
Pennsylvania State University (32 points) and Grand Valley State University (25 points) come in at No. 16 and 17 before a tie between the University of Oregon (13 points) and Cornell University (13 points) at No. 18. The University of Notre Dame (12 points) completes the Week 9 Top 20.

The Banana Slugs (100 points) and New York University (95 points) continue at No. 1 and 2 with Bowdoin College (87 points) and Emory University (85 points) exchanging the No. 3 and 4 rankings.
Washington University in St. Louis (84 points) stays at No. 5 with Carnegie Mellon University (73 points) and the United States Coast Guard Academy (73 points) tying at No. 6.
Tufts University (65 points), Middlebury College (60 points) and Colby College (55 points) complete the Top 10..
