BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Due to the University of New England being unable to travel on Saturday, April 1, for its games at the 2017 Women’s Collegiate Club North Atlantic Division tournament hosted by Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) announces an additional change to the event’s previously updated schedule for the weekend of Saturday-Sunday, April 1-2.

The adjusted schedule now features Bates facing off with Bowdoin College at both 2:45 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, as the second game which was to occur at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 2, is now part of a back-to-back doubleheader between the two programs.

On Sunday, April 2, New England will face both Bates and Bowdoin over the span of three games.  Bates and New England will meet at both 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., while Bowdoin and New England will clash at 11:15 a.m.

Due to limited pool time, the Bowdoin-vs.-New England will count twice in the league standings as the contest will have twice the impact of a regular women’s collegiate club game.
