2026 Women’s Collegiate Club Bay Area Division Schedule

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases changes to the 2026 Women’s Collegiate Club Bay Area Division schedule following the election of Stanford University to not compete this year.

Following the departure of Stanford – which did not attend the opening weekend of Bay Area competition on Saturday-Sunday, February 14-15, at San Jose State University in San Jose, Calif. – the division changes to a five team group with Fresno State University, San Jose State, the University of California-Santa Cruz “A”, the University of California-Santa Cruz “B” and the University of San Francisco remaining to contest the division’s second season of competition.

The schedule for the final regular season weekend on Saturday-Sunday, February 28-March 1, at UC-Santa Cruz in Santa Cruz, Calif., is adjusted to a 10-game tournament, while the Bay Area Championship becomes an eight-game event on Saturday-Sunday, March 14-15, at UC-Santa Cruz.

The victor of the Bay Area Division Championship earns the group’s automatic berth to the 2026 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship on Friday-Sunday, April 17-19, at the Carlisle YMCA Aquatic Center in Carlisle, Pa.
