BRIDGEPORT, Pa — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases a list of “Things to Do in Norton, Mass.” during the league’s 2026 CWPA Division III Championship on Friday-Sunday, April 10-12, at Wheaton College.

Located in Bristol County, Massachusetts, United States, the town of Norton has some unique history:

  • In elementary school, students are told the story of the “Devil’s Foot Print”, where Major George Leonard sold his soul to the devil.  The devil’s foot print can be seen at Norton’s Joseph C. Solmonese Elementary School, on land which was once Leonard’s farmland.
  • Norton is also a location in the claimed paranormal Bridgewater Triangle, an area in southeastern Massachusetts alleged to be a site of paranormal phenomena, ranging from UFOs to poltergeists, and other spectral phenomena, various Bigfoot-like sightings (the creature, not the monster truck), giant snakes and thunderbirds.
