2025 Men’s Collegiate Club Texas Division Schedule
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases an updated 2025 Men’s Collegiate Club Texas Division schedule.
The division changes as Louisiana State University, Rice University, Southern Methodist University, Texas A&M University “A”, Texas A&M University “B”, Texas State University, Texas Tech University, the University of North Texas, the University of Texas “A” and the University of Texas “B” are joined by the University of Houston.
Following tournaments at Texas Tech University in Lubbock (September 27-28) and Rice University in Houston (October 4-5), the regular season schedule expands as Cedar Ridge High School in Round Rock, Texas, serves as the site for a 22-game weekend on Saturday-Sunday, October 18-19. Due to time constraints, games during the weekend will use six-minute quarters with limitations placed on both overtime and timeouts.
The regular season results – based on winning percentage due to the number of games contested by each team being unequal with the late addition of Houston – seed the 11-team, 17-game Texas Division Championship on Saturday-Sunday, October 25-26, at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. Games on Saturday, October 25, will use six-minute quarters with sudden death overtime and one timeout per half for each team permitted. Contests on Sunday, October 26, will use normal collegiate club rules (seven-minute quarters, etc.).
The victor of the Texas Division Championship earns the group’s berth to the 2025 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship at a site to be determined on Friday-Sunday, November 7-9.
