2026 Men’s Collegiate Club Colonial Division Schedule

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases a revised 2026 Men’s Collegiate Club Colonial Division schedule following the election of Williams College to withdraw due to being unable to field a team.

The division shrinks to four teams as the University of Connecticut, the University of Massachusetts, Wesleyan University and Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) make up the Colonial Division’s 11th season of competing membership.  Connecticut (2023, 2024), Massachusetts (2022, 2025), Williams (2015, 2021), Wesleyan (2016), Amherst College (2017) and the United States Coast Guard Academy (2018, 2019) previously claimed the division crown, while the 2020 season was not contested due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Regular season competition will occur at Wesleyan in Middletown, Conn.,  with eight-game events on both Saturday-Sunday, September 19-20, and Saturday-Sunday, October 3-4.

The order of finish from the regular season establishes the Colonial Division’s seeding for the combined Colonial/North Atlantic Championship slated for Saturday-Sunday, October 17-18, at Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vt.

The championship will pit the four Colonial Division institutions versus five North Atlantic Division teams in a 15-game weekend to determine an overall champion.  In addition, the top finishing teams in both divisions claim the Colonial and North Atlantic titles.
