2025 Men’s Collegiate Club Texas Division Schedule

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases an updated 2025 Men’s Collegiate Club Texas Division schedule.

Due to Baylor University electing to be withdraw from competition in 2025, the division changes for this week to Louisiana State University, Rice University, Southern Methodist University, Texas A&M University “A”, Texas A&M University “B”, Texas State University, Texas Tech University, the University of North Texas, the University of Texas “A” and the University of Texas “B”.  The University of Houston may join the division on Monday, September 29, with resulting impacts on the remainder of the regular season and division championship schedules.

For the weekend of Saturday-Sunday, September 27-28, at Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas, the schedule is reworked so that 10 games will occur with six league contests and four exhibition clashes.  Texas Tech will field both “A” and “B” teams during the weekend with the “B” team games rating as exhibitions and not counting toward the league standings.

The remainder of the Texas Division schedule remains in flux dependent upon the decision of Houston to compete during the 2025 season.

One issue is known, however, as teams will be seeded for the championship according to their won/loss percentage as the number of games each squad contests will be different. If two teams are tied in won/loss percentage, the head-to-head result between them will break the tie. If the teams did not play each other, the team that played the most number of games will receive the higher seed. If teams are tied in the number of contests played, the goal differential against higher seeded opponents will break the tie.
