2026 Men’s Collegiate Club Rocky Mountain Division Schedule
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases an updated 2026 Men’s Collegiate Club Rocky Mountain Division schedule.
Due to the University of Utah being unable to field a “B” team, the division shrinks to seven teams as Colorado Mesa University, the Colorado School of Mines, Colorado State University, the University of Colorado “A”, the University of Colorado “B”, the University of New Mexico and Utah will contest the Rocky Mountain Division’s 19th season as part of the CWPA.
In the history of the division, Utah (2007, 2009, 2012, 2018, 2019), Colorado (2008, 2010, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025) and Arizona State University (2011, 2013) have previously won the group’s title. The 2020 season was not contested due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Regular season competition begins at Colorado Mesa in Grand Junction, Colo., on Saturday-Sunday, September 19-20, with 14-games. Due to time constraints, all games during the weekend will use six-minute quarters with no overtime and teams limited to one timeout per half.
The regular season concludes with another 14-game weekend in Thornton, Colo., on Saturday-Sunday, October 3-4, at the Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center. Following the departure of Utah “B”, there is enough time for all games to occur under regulation collegiate club rules.
The 11-game Rocky Mountain Division Championship takes place on Saturday-Sunday, October 24-25, at the Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, with the victor advancing to the 2026 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship on the weekend of Friday-Sunday, November 6-8, at the Huntsville Aquatics Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
