BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Technical Committee released the officiating assignments for the 2018 CWPA Division III Championship, the CWPA Championship and the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championship.
The quartet of JR Perez, Humberto Navarro, Greg Sanchez and Igor Mernenko will officiate the 2018 CWPA Division III Championship with Carthage College, Connecticut College, Grove City College, Macalester College, Monmouth College, Utica College, Washington & Jefferson College and host Penn State Behrend at the David M. Hallman Aquatics Center in Erie, Pa. on Saturday-Sunday, April 14-15. CWPA Technical Committee member Andy Takata will also be in attendance for evaluations.
Head referee Alex Stankevitch will join Josh Kratz, Humberto Navarro, Julie Snyder, Val Vasilchikov and Scott Voltz at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa. on Friday-Sunday, April 27-29 for the CWPA Championship featuring Brown University, George Washington University, Hartwick College, Harvard University, Indiana University, Princeton University, Saint Francis University, the University of Michigan and the the host Bison.
At Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., on Saturday-Sunday, April 28-29, the duo of Brad Peavey and head official Jamie Wolff will call the MAAC Championship with the top four finishing teams from the league’s regular season competition.
CWPA Hall of Fame member Mike Schofield will serve as the alternate official for either the CWPA or MAAC Championship if an official is unable to attend.
