BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Makela Riordan (Jr., O’ahu, Hawaii/Kamehameha Kapalama) scored nine goals and goalkeeper Alison O’Dell (Jr., Salinas, Calif./Salinas) helped Colorado State University limit their opposition to 5.3 goals per game at the division championship tournament hosted by the United States Air Force Academy.  For their performance, the duo share recognition as the April 11 Women’s Collegiate Club Rocky Mountain Division Player of the Week.

The pair combined to allow Colorado State to down the University of Colorado (11-6 W) and the University of Utah (9-3 W) prior to claiming a 13-7 victory over Colorado in the title game to complete a perfect 11-0 division season.

The championship marks the first in the history of Colorado State water polo and advances the Rams to the 2022 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship on Friday-Sunday, May 6-8, in Huntsville, Alabama.
