IRVINE, Calif. — Concordia University Irvine seeks a women’s water polo graduate assistant coach.
This is an outstanding opportunity for aspiring collegiate coaches to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of running a successful National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) program while earning a master’s degree.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist the Head Coach in all aspects of the women’s water polo program:
- Evaluate and recruit prospective student-athletes
- Organize and assist with practice planning and game preparation
- Support scouting and opponent analysis
- Monitor the academic progress of student-athletes
- Assist with team travel, scheduling, and logistics
- Help manage program operations, fundraising, and budget initiatives
- Mentor student-athletes and contribute to a positive team culture
- Assist with camps, clinics, and community outreach
- Perform administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Collegiate playing and/or coaching experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Passion for developing student-athletes on and off the deck
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and be able to drive university vehicles for recruiting and team travel.
