BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Connecticut College’s Sarah Franco (Jr., Weston, Conn./Weston) made nine saves with a steal in three quarters of work during a 13-4 loss at No. 21-ranked Brown University on April 8 to earn honors as the April 10 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Defensive Player of the Week.
The award marks her second in as many weeks as she previously was recognized with Defensive Player of the Week status on April 3.
